52 days till our Orlando Fl trip to Disney and Universal Studio. :) I can't believe Ive missed 8 days of blogging.  My computer has been giving me issues. Its time to replace it. But I can't decide what to get.
 

Belly Dancing

I've been taking a belly dancing class this spring and summer . Its been so much fun. This is my teacher Rosa Noreen. Its something out of my comfort zone to dance in front of people, but I did do a recital in July .  :)

Alice

I love Alice in Wonderland. It keeps popping up in my artwork . This is on a 5x7 canvas. Maybe I'll make the Red Queen with this. I also want to do Snow White, maybe a goth style.

artist block

Ive been working on a page for a paint and pass journal group I'm in. Actually I received two journals at the same time. I finished one ,came out pretty well (you can see it on my messy desk).  The second journal is stumping me. I keep adding to it and still I'm not happy :(  I had a idea in mind but it gone out of control. argggh
I don't want to wreck this journal. My hubby tells me to leave it be and come back to it with fresh eyes. Sigh maybe tomorrow .

new video

This is the recycled book that I made. I painted the cover. I really need a new computer, my old laptop keeps going to a blue screen and shutting down. bah. Its old I guess , running windows vista. Ive heard bad stuff about windows 8. Would love a mac but they are too much $$$

Messy desk

No matter how many times I clean my craft room , it always ends up like this. I kinda wish I had another table to work on but I think it would be covered with stuff too. Any one else have this issue? I always laugh when I look at peoples work spaces in the magazines where everything is in pretty boxes and clean, like a show room . This is real life. Paint everywhere, scraps of paper on the floor,  pencils in yogurt containers.<3

adopt a shelter pet

This is a short video of out cat. She was a shelter kitty. My husband picked her out a couple years ago. She was hiding under a blanket, the shelter volunteer thought we were crazy to take her. We were told she was not very friendly . I believe she may have been abused . It took some time but she really is a lovely kitty, she loves laps and is now very friendly . 

69 days till our Orlando Florida trip ! We'll be going to universal studios and Disney . Can't wait ! We went two years ago , so much has changed since then . At universal they are building Diagon Allley ,but it won't open till 2014. Here is a little video of some Harry Potter mini paintings :)

Been working on my next video, my room looks actually neat in this pic. Now it looks like a disaster. The sun has finally come out yay! Its first Friday meaning a good day for a art walk .  :)

where have I been in since I posted here in 2011

I have not posted for so long Ive forgotten how this site works lol! Hopefully this video I posted recently on youtube shows up. I was inspired by Effy Wild to make this book and to blog again. I hope to post more frequently, lets see how long this lasts. :)
